BOATS AND "PLENTY" TIME

Free Spirit

I sat at the habour

I sit here often enough

I love to watch the boats

Big boats,
Anchored,
Steel, still, and happy.
There is Free Spirit, Dirt Poor, and Top Dog
They seem to love the marina
Not in a hurry to sail today.
Perhaps tomorrow
Who knows?

I love the marina
It's calming to sit idle,
as the boats idle too.
Big boats of rich blokes and gals
toys of leisure and pleasure
luxuriating in the tropical sun
Lapping in the island's attitude
Live in the moment
haste is wasted here
'Cos life is but a dream.
