ABC's Scandal: Amazing Chemistry between Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn

Shonda Rhimes is an excellent storyteller, her stories have a way of keeping you glued to your television set, and literally following the lives of her characters.
Whether it is on Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice, it is addictive, and her latest  American political thriller television series Scandal in its 2nd season simply keeps me at the edge of my sofa on Thursday nights.
Partially based on former George Bush administration press aide Judy Smith, takes place in Washington, D.C., and focuses on Olivia Pope's crisis management firm, Pope & Associates, and its staff, as well as staff at the White House.
I have not seen such chemistry between two characters as there is between  Kerry Washington's "Olivia Pope and Tony Goldwyn   "President Fitzgerald  Grant" on television in a long time.
These two have a very complicated relationship, daring to walk the path of a love that is forbidden. Perhaps that is why it is so exciting, not knowing which way the river would flow,  that makes me tune in every Thursday night at 10.00 pm Eastern Standard Time, to see who will fall in the river, or who might drown.
Will the President of the United States throw away his political career, and swap the position of being the most powerful man in the free world for a chance at happiness.
His Chief of staff already told him, that you can not have Greatness and Happiness. It has to be one or the other. Is he right?
